Dear Friends, Partners and Intercessors,
Tomorrow, fellow minister Bob Watson and I will be traveling to Sri Lanka to conduct leadership meetings dealing with prophetic ministry. Particularly, we will be teaching on how to build with the prophetic and how the prophetic and apostolic work in tandem to equip and release the saints, transform lives and provoke change. We will be working alongside Rev. K. Yoganathan, Director of Hill Country Church Planting Ministry in Sri Lanka. He will be gathering 100 of his top pastors and leaders to be trained and encouraged during this time. It is a select and strategic gathering. We will also minister in some local churches.
Please keep us in your prayers regarding the following:
1. Travel safety and stamina. Our journey from Raleigh to Colombo will be over 30 hours. We will also travel by car while in country.
2. Clear, accurate communication and anointed interpreters. Revelation from the Holy Spirit in all meetings.
3. Buddhism is the state religion in Sri Lanka, and, as such, is protected and promoted. Persecution of Christians has significantly increased. Please pray that there will be no interference from the enemy so that these precious leaders can be taught, equipped and encouraged.
We are so grateful to those of you who have helped us meet the budget for this mission. We could not be doing this without you. I humbly quote the Apostle Paul, as he responded to the giving of the Philippians, "...you sent me help for my needs once and again. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit." (Phil. 4:16,17) We are believing in quality Kingdom increases to your credit, as you have sown into our need and the needs of the believers in Sri Lanka.
Finally, please remember to pray for us when the mission is over and we travel home. I look forward to sharing a brief report with you upon our return.
